Your appearance is very important for an interview for your Boston Job Opportunity. Your interviewer will develop a visual impression of you within the first 10 seconds of your meeting. Therefore, you should strive to present yourself as a polished professional by sporting a clean, tailored look.
General Rule: Dress Your Best
The best attire for most interviews is a suit in a dark, neutral tone, such as black, navy, or charcoal gray or a sport jacket with color coordinated trousers. Choose a crisp dress shirt in a light color—white is always a safe choice. Complete your look by choosing a tie in a solid color or a subtle pattern. Your shoes should be leather—clean and polished. Your socks should coordinate with your shoes and suit.
Interviewing in a Casual Work Environment
If you know that the company you’re interviewing with has a casual dress code, you may opt to leave your suit at home for another occasion. But, regardless of the dress code, you should still dress one or two clicks above what current employees wear on a daily basis. If you’re unsure how casual a company’s work environment is, do your research! Visit the company’s Web site and Facebook fan page to see if there are pictures of the office. Or, talk with your recruiter and ask him/her what they suggest you wear. If you are still at a loss for what to wear, play it safe by dressing more formally than might be necessary.
It’s all in the Details
Your clothing is only one part of your appearance—accessories and personal maintenance should not be overlooked. Hair, including facial hair, should be neatly groomed. Some companies are stricter than others regarding facial hair, so to be safe, you may want to be clean-shaven. And, remember to leave your jewelry at home; your watch and wedding ring are all you should wear.

My advice would be to walk into an interview with your jacket closed, but feel free to unbutton it when seated. For a more casual company atmosphere, please feel free to read the post about dressing for Business Casual.

Good article, I think it would also help to do some research on the company as they may be a casual office. But as the articles outlines its always better to be over dressed than under dressed!
